Last night, Wednesday, December 20th, the Oakland Chamber of Commerce had our End of the Year Meeting filled with great company, fun collaborating chats, delicious food and discussion on next year's events.
Surrounded by festive holiday decor and music, French Oak Bar & Grill served up delicious savory appetizers. As businesses mingled and reminisced of the great foundational year the Chamber had in 2023 - our focus turned to all our scheduled events for the upcoming new year. Growing as a Chamber in numbers also means growing in the community through partnerships and events.
The Oakland Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to expanding our current initiatives while establishing new ones. With news to come on the latter, we are thrilled to be renewing our Restaurant of the Month and Restaurant Week for 2024 while also bringing on Business of the Month with new personalities introducing you to Oakland's thriving businesses. Collaborating with Oakland organizations such as Public Events, PTOs and the Oakland Fire Department, we hope to make 2024 a booming year for Oakland business and the residential community.
A special thank you to our directors this year, especially Marc Fox, Heather Lorenzo, Alex Evans, Betti Russo and Andrea Levy for all their assistance and support this year. We would also like to thank Mayor Linda Schwager, the Oakland Fire Department and Oakland Public Events. Finally, to all of the Chamber Businesses - you are amazing and we look forward to continuing to work with you to grow business and community relations in Oakland.
Much love and appreciation to all! Happy holidays and a wonderful New Year.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Smith
